Nazareth Academy, together with our CSJ sister schools, St. Joseph’s Academy Baton Rouge and Saint Joseph Academy Cleveland, participated in the first CSJ/SSJ Student Leadership Conference. Thirty students from the three schools, plus ten from Mount St. Joseph in Philadelphia, gathered on the campus of Chestnut Hill, an SSJ College in Pennsylvania, June 11-15, to learn more about the history, mission and charism of the Congregation of St. Joseph. read more ›

Kyle and Evan auditioned with the best and most talented students from Nazareth, and from across the state of Illinois. Both young men were chosen to perform in the ensemble. Kyle Norbut also has the role of "The Man." They will give up several weekends over the next six months to rehearse with students from across the state.
This is the first time since 2009 that Nazareth students have been chosen for show. Way to go Evan and Kyle!
Congratulations to Roadrunners Baseball for finishing their season by making Nazareth history, ending second in the IHSA Class 3A State Final. While short of their ultimate first place goal, the State series was the culmination of an outstanding season, which included winning an IHSA Regional Championship and their sixth Sectional Title in seven years, and a Super-Sectional Title. On May 24, 2015 Nazareth Academy held a Graduation Mass and Commencement at Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace for the 163 graduates of the Class of 2015. These graduates will attend 66 colleges across 23 states. They have earned over $18.9 million in merit-based scholarships and awards. read more ›
On May 3, 2015, twenty-six members of Nazareth Academy’s Math Team competed at the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics State Finals in Urbana, IL. Students competed in both individual and team events, earning an overall 10th place finish for the team in Class 2A Competition. Nazareth students also took 1st place in the 8-person Junior/Senior Team Competition and 1st place in Individual Algebra 2. read more ›
Nazareth Academy congratulates U.S. History Honors teacher, Therese Hawkins, for her nomination to receive the Patricia Behring Teacher of the Year Award. Nominees have shown outstanding creativity, commitment, and inspiration in developing student interest in history. Each state winner is awarded $500, and is eligible for the National Patricia Behring Teacher of the Year Award. Two national winners, announced on June 18, 2015, will receive $10,000 in recognition of their outstanding efforts. read more ›
Nazareth Academy congratulates U.S. History Honors students whose History Fair projects have advanced from Regional competition to the Metro City Finals, and now on to the State Finals at the Illinois History Expo on May 7 in Springfield.
