Nazareth Academy is proud to announce its First Quarter Honor Roll for the 2015-2016 school year. The “A” Honor Roll indicates a grade point average of 3.80-4.00 on a 4 point scale. The “B” Honor Roll indicates a grade point average of 3.33-3.79 on a 4 point scale. During an unseasonably cold and windy weekend in October, both Nazareth’s Boys and Girls Golf teams represented the school at IHSA State Competition. For the Girls, 2015 marked the first time in school history that the team qualified for State! Both teams competed well and we offer our heartiest congratulations. read more ›
The Varsity Boys Golf team finished in 8th place. The team of Matthew Clark, Jack Keivan, George King, Quinn Newman, Andrew Radford and Aidan Smith endured freezing temperatures and gusty winds to continue the legacy of the Boys Golf team. Matthew Clark placed 7th as an individual, earning All-State honors for the second year in a row.
The Girls Golf team finished their historic season in 12th place. Congratulations to Molly McAuliffe, Grace Brown, Hannah Vanek, Daphne Bigelow, Fallon Corcoran and Jackie Harmon!

Nazareth's Student Council led the way in planning an awesome Homecoming Week around an Olympic theme "Pass the Torch: Homecoming 2015." Olympic dress-down days, lunchtime games, medal hunts and videos all got students in the right spirit. read more ›
In May, 2015, 78 Nazareth students took 132 AP exams in 13 different areas. Fifteen of those students earned Advanced Placement Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP Exams. read more ›
Nazareth Academy, together with our CSJ sister schools, St. Joseph’s Academy Baton Rouge and Saint Joseph Academy Cleveland, participated in the first CSJ/SSJ Student Leadership Conference. Thirty students from the three schools, plus ten from Mount St. Joseph in Philadelphia, gathered on the campus of Chestnut Hill, an SSJ College in Pennsylvania, June 11-15, to learn more about the history, mission and charism of the Congregation of St. Joseph. read more ›
“It is our hope and desire to bring the core and heart of the CSJ mission to our students and to the climate and culture of Nazareth. Deeply engaging some of our school leaders in this experience is a great way to do this. At the same time we launched new ways of connecting to other high schools who have the same goal and purpose,” said Principal Deborah Tracy.
Congratulations to Roadrunners Baseball for finishing their season by making Nazareth history, ending second in the IHSA Class 3A State Final. While short of their ultimate first place goal, the State series was the culmination of an outstanding season, which included winning an IHSA Regional Championship and their sixth Sectional Title in seven years, and a Super-Sectional Title.
