Girls Volleyball Defeats IMSA
The Varsity Volleyball Team defeated IMSA by scores of 25 - 8 and 25 - 9. A great team effort was led by Kathryn Slunecko with 13 assists and 2 digs, Emily Milligan with a passing score of 2.57, Brittany Brown with 9 assists, 3 aces and 2 kills. Mariah Rouse had 4 kills and 4 blocks.
Boys Golf Wins First Dual Meet
The Roadrunners started their 2010 dual meet season with a solid victory over Timothy Christian. Peter Schink was the medalist, shooting and even par 36. Brendan Salvino shot a 37, Patrick Owens 39, Matt Radford 41, Mike Rodden 42, Riley Gallagher 43, Jack Roache 44, and Chance Orrick 46. The final score was 153-175.
Boys Golf Plays at State Course
The Boys Golf Team played at the site of the IHSA State Tournament in Normal, IL. Peter Schink shot a 78, Bob Lively 79, Jay Karas 81, Brendan Salvino 85, Chance Orrick 85, and Matt Radford 88.
Golf Wins First Tournament of the Year
Congratulations of the Boys Golf Team on their outstanding play at the Nazareth Golf Invite. The varsity was led by the tournament individual champion, Chance Orrick (74), along with Brendan Salvino (80), Peter Schink (81), Matt Radford (83), Patrick Owens (83), and Mike Rodden. The Roadrunners finished with a score of 318.
