Nazareth Girls Basketball adds to state titles -this time 4A

On Saturday, March 7, 2026 Nazareth Academy's Girls Basketball team finished their season with a victory over Loyola Academy to win the IHSA Class 4A STATE TITLE. Although they have a 2023 State Title in 3A, this is the first 4A State Championship for the program.
This Championship marks the culmination of an outstanding season for these players and coaches. The Roadrunners are also ESCC Champions with four All-Conference players and one All-Conference Honorable Mention. Coach Ed Stritzel celebrated his 500th career win.
