At Nazareth Academy, the Band program is more than just a performance ensemble; it is a community where artistic expression meets disciplined excellence.
Whether performing under the Friday night lights or on a concert stage, our musicians are empowered to find their unique voice while contributing to a powerful collective sound. The Band Program fully lives Nazareth’s mission of educating the whole person, encouraging excellence in academics, involvement in activities and sports, and through travel to Disney World and regional performances.
Nazareth is a 2026 NAMM Foundation Best Community for Music Education- the only Catholic high school in the State of Illinois to receive this distinction.

Our program bridges the gap between classic musical foundations and modern performance technology. Utilizing our 1:1 iPad integration for digital sheet music, rhythm training, recording software and composition, Nazareth musicians are equipped with the tools to master their craft in a 21st-century landscape.
A Place for Every Player
From the Marching Band and Concert Band to specialized Jazz, Percussion and Pep ensembles, we offer a variety of ways for students to engage with music. Under expert direction, students develop leadership, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts—all while representing the "Spirit of Nazareth" at school events and regional competitions.
